Evidence that nanoMIPs can supersede fragile antibodies in ELISAs - new publication demonstrates proof of application.

nanoMIPs (developed by MIP Diagnostics, are nanostructured Molecularly Imprinted Polymer particles typically containing a single binding site. Data recently published by the University of Leicester compares nanoMIPs prepared for small molecule templates with commercial antibodies in competitive ELISAs. The results showed that such imprinted nanoparticle-based assays demonstrated detection limits in the pM range and that polymer-coated mircoplates are stable to storage at room temperature for at least 1 month.
